My daughter’s birthday is coming soon and she asked me to have an Angry Birds party theme. I came up with this idea for a party invitation. If you would like to re create this invitation, here are the things I did.
1. Designed the card in Photoshop, the size is 4 inches x 6 inches and then I printed them as 4x6 pictures. I used Walgreens.
2. I printed this iPhone graphic.
3. I used black poster paper and glue it behind the iPhone print, then cut them to give them the iPhone shape. After that I glued the pictures on top of the iPhone paper (I used a little bit of Multipurpose Glue to glue the black poster and the picture.
3. I coated the card with Cement Glue to make the iPhone print shine and to give the feeling that everything belongs together.
4. With a silver ink pen I wrote the RSVP and the name of the guest at the back of the card. Trying to emulate the real back of an iPhone. I even draw the apple icon =)
5. This is how the card looks at the end. It’s pretty solid and my daughter loved helping me put everything together.
